Art Hyman retires from Key Government Finance

By Amy Thomas in Company News Posted July 27, 2018

Art Hyman, head of Key Government Finance’s federal finance team, has retired. Hyman lead the federal finance segment for seven years, and his retirement caps several decades in public sector and commercial finance.

“Art made many contributions to our federal finance business, which has more than doubled in volume since he joined Key,” said Amy M. Gross, senior vice president, Key Government Finance. “Through Art’s leadership, the team has expanded its reach within the federal space, established its differentiated capability for vendor relationships and opened up avenues to capture larger market share.”

As the federal finance leader, Hyman spent a significant amount of time in the role of educator, helping private investors, prime contractors and agencies understand how private financing works and how they can optimize limited funds to meet ever growing technology and data security needs.

Hyman also added new talent to Key’s federal team to create future bench strength and drive execution in new markets.

“Art’s team is well known in the D.C. area as the market leader in the federal space, and he is leaving them on solid ground with ample opportunity,” Gross said. “While his colleagues here at Key are sad to see him go, we wish him all the best in his retirement.”
