Key Equipment Finance employees recently volunteered for the 31st annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day, KeyBank’s annual day of service.
In the town of Superior, Colo., ten employees spent their day scraping and painting along some of the town’s walking and biking trails. Superior is home to 29.75 miles of trails - on road, hard and soft trails. The community is vibrant and active, and the trails get a lot of use.
Additionally, some Key employees spent the day making blankets for a local children's hospital.
A history of making a difference
Neighbors Make the Difference Day began in 1991, when a group of Alaska employees volunteered for service projects and gave the day its title. By 1993, the idea had swept across many of the communities KeyBank serves and became an official day of employee volunteerism.
Key Equipment Finance is a division of KeyBank and is headquartered in Superior, Colo., so employees have volunteered with the Town of Superior since 2006.
