Tamara Darnow, director of compliance and operational risk management for Key Equipment Finance, has been named to the executive board of the Colorado chapter of ACAMS, an international financial crime prevention organization.
ACAMS is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge, skills and expertise of Anti Money Laundering/Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) and financial crime detection and prevention professionals.
Darnow will serve as co-communications director for ACAMS Colorado, which comprises over 100 individuals representing banks, credit unions, broker dealers, mutual funds, insurance companies, money services businesses, credit card providers, law firms, federal law enforcement agencies, and Colorado State banking and securities regulators.
The Colorado chapter is committed to assisting ACAMS International in its mission to advance the professional knowledge, skills, and experience of those dedicated to the detection and prevention of financial crimes by providing:
- Educational resources and continuing education credits;
- Collaboration and networking opportunities with local AML professionals and industry experts; and,
- Career/professional development opportunities.
