Ryan van de Boogaard, leasing manager for Enterprise Vendor Group at Key Equipment Finance, is among 40 young professionals profiled this year by The Monitor for its inaugural NextGen issue.
van de Boogaard, who is responsible for assisting in the development and growth of vendor finance programs, was featured among 40 rising stars in the industry.
An employee of Key Equipment Finance since 2007, van de Boogaard manages relationships with the manufacturer and vendor sales teams by providing customized financial solutions to help them sell their equipment. This involves strategizing with decision makers, pricing, structuring and proposing transactions that fit customer needs. He also is a two-time Golden Key Award winner and recipient of six sales achievement awards.
Benefits of early industry involvement
Two years ago, van de Boogaard increased his involvement in the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and joined the association’s Emerging Talent Advisory Council (ETAC), and was featured in an article about the benefits of early involvement in the industry trade association.
This program allows van de Boogaard to be more active in recruiting on college campuses and reaching the younger generation to make them aware of opportunities within the industry. (He) believes a foundation needs to be built for young leaders in equipment finance.
He also sees building relationships as an important aspect of leadership. "He prefers to lead by building strong relationships and helping others solve problems."
