Kelly Reale, vice president of strategy and performance management for Key Equipment Finance, has received the Steven R. LeBarron Award for Principled Research from the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation.
The Steven R. LeBarron Award for Principled Research recognizes dedicated participation in numerous research projects for the industry.
The award was announced during the Foundation’s Annual Research Planning Meeting.

Industry leadership
Reale has been a dedicated participant in numerous Foundation Research Committee projects, including on the topics of managed solutions and driverless vehicles/robotic technologies. She also led the steering committee for the fintech report, “Headwinds, Undercurrents and Tailwinds: How Equipment Finance Companies Can Learn and Benefit from the Fintech Phenomenon.”
Background
Based in Albany, New York, Reale joined Key Equipment Finance in 1994 as a credit officer, and was promoted to regional business unit manager in 1998, to director of product and market development in 2000, and to vice president, corporate development in 2006.
She has a bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany SUNY and an MBA from The College of Saint Rose.
